Dear Wine Lover,
Yesterday we had the chance to taste Ducru Beaucaillou 2009 together with the owner Bruno Borie (photo attached) who flew in from Bordeaux to attend to a very special Ducru Beaucaillou dinner we hosted at our premises in Melano. We had the chance to taste the greatest recent vintage, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006 and the legend 2009 yesterday and today again as we had a Materclass with Bruno Borie together with all our sales team (other photo attached). As you may know Ducru Beaucaillou 2009 was declared worlds best Cabernet blend during a blind tasting of a group of tasters which included several Master of wines and many other wine experts!! Despite the presence of all five Bordeaux first growths in the tasting, the second growth property from Saint-Julien gained the highest average score. At the dinner of yesterday the result was the same. Even if especially the 2000 and 2005 were amazing all 30 guests and our whole sales team agreed once again that Ducru 2009 was the clear winner of the evening and of todays tasting!
The 2009 Ducru Beaucaillou is the best to date according to Bruno Borie himself and also following the wine critics, it received a perfect score from both René Gabriel and Robert Parker, a fairly rare occurrence limited to a selected few of the 2009s. Robert Parker states that: The 2009 Ducru Beaucaillou will eclipse the brilliant wines produced in 2005, 2003 and 2000. and Gabriel thinks that this is most likely the best Ducru Beaucaillou ever. Another important thing to consider is that it is the first Ducru Beaucaillou which ever got 100 Parker points and only the second time that it got 20 points by René Gabriel after the iconic 1961 vintage.
We thought to make this offer really irresistible for you as you did not purchase this vintage, at least from us, yet. Special price for 12 bottles and 36 bottles, dont let this chance slip away:

For 36 bottles or more at CHF 275.00 (CHF 297.00 Vat included)
Robert Parker "100" Points: The 2009 Ducru Beaucaillou will eclipse the brilliant wines produced in 2005, 2003 and 2000. It will be interesting to see how the 2009 fares against the 2010 after twenty years of aging, but my money is on the 2009. A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot that achieved 13.5% natural alcohol, this inky purple, unctuous wine possesses classic aromas of graphite, creme de cassis, blueberries, violets, licorice and Christmas fruitcake. Full-bodied and intense with Ducrus inimitable elegance and purity, it should firm up in the bottle after 7-10 years of cellaring and last for 40-50 years. Magnificent! Bruno Borie has done a remarkable job at Ducru Beaucaillou. 20/20
